The Story of Healy Engraving

Billy Healy came to the United States in 1994 from Waterford Ireland as an apprentice to his father, who is a former Waterford Crystal Cutter. Billy honed his craft of glass carving, engraving, and restoration while working with the family’s line of fine Irish Crystal for 17 years, before launching his own line of Celtic Glass in 2009.

Billy is the youngest Master Crystal Artist in the U.S., and has created engravings that draw upon an age-old Irish glass tradition combined with a modern day flair.

Today, Billy and his wife Nichole work together to design fine artwork, glass carvings, jewelry, and glass products that are hand-made and of the highest quality.

The mission of Healy Engraving is to foster the traditional craft of glass and crystal artistry in the United States, and to bring an appreciation of the craft to a new generation.
